Score a turn
- Segment games (cricket family, Killer, Around the Clock, Shanghai, Baseball, Halve-It, English Cricket): tap the number, with S / D / T for single, double, triple. The modifier resets to Single after every dart. Three darts fill the slots; the submit button previews exactly what the visit does before you commit.
- x01: enter the visit total on the number pad, or per-dart values. The app blocks impossible totals and handles busts by the rules.
It's your turn when your name is lit. If turn reminders are on, the app buzzes the player who's up — the notification even carries the last visit ("Jake: T20 S19 Miss — step up").
Fix a mistake
Tap a past visit to correct it. What you can enter depends on the game:
- Segment games: re-enter the darts as thrown — type
T20 D5 25(Mfor a miss). The whole game replays from that point, so marks, heat maps, and averages stay true. Not just the total — the actual darts. - x01 and others: enter per-dart values or override the total.
Every correction keeps an audit record. You can correct your own turns; the host can correct anyone's. If a visit ever can't be read (an old entry with no dart detail), the board says so instead of guessing — Darts Golf even names the exact holes to re-enter to unblock a card.
Two things the app will not let anyone rewrite — not even the host. This section used to say "tap any past visit", and there are exactly two exceptions (owner ruling, 2026-08-12):
- A turn-clock forfeit. When the clock runs out the app records the turn, and that record cannot be undone or corrected by the player or the host. If it was unfair, appeal it — settle it between you and play on. A host who can quietly reverse their own timeout is the hole this closes.
- The placeholder left when a seat is removed mid-game. It marks where a player stopped, so editing it would move a boundary the whole replay depends on.
A finished legs match is also closed to further rewrites once it is decided — banked legs are final, like a real match after handshakes.
When the game is decided
The moment the darts settle it, a Game shot banner names the winner. Nothing ends by itself: the host gets an End game button, everyone gets Keep playing, and other players see the banner while the host decides. Keep playing is also your undo window — the game stays live, corrections stay open, and a correction that changes the outcome takes the banner down (or brings it back) to match the board. Ending from the banner runs the normal finish: recap, achievements, and the next game of a pub-night playlist if one is queued.
Pause and resume
Life happens mid-leg. Any player in the game can pause it — it waits on the home screen, and everyone can pick it up later exactly where it stood.
End, forfeit, or discard
From the End Game menu the host can:
- End normally — the engine confirms the winner.
- Forfeit — pick the winner when someone has to leave.
- Discard — the game vanishes and no stats are recorded.
Long-press an active game card on the home screen to clear it.
The recap
When a game ends, the recap story plays: per-player screens with the numbers that mattered (MPR and marks for cricket, averages and 180s for x01), a momentum chart showing the race round by round, and the finale.
Tap the share icon on any screen to post it — the card carries the Chuck Darts mark, so your group chat knows where the night happened. Replay any recap later with View recap on a finished game.
