Chuck Darts records every dart as the segment you actually hit — T20, D16, outer bull, miss. That one habit powers everything else: live scoreboards, true averages, heat maps, and the recap story at the end of the night.

Start a game
- Open the Games tab and pick a game. Not sure? Start with 501 or Cricket — the games guide explains them all.
- Add your players (below).
- Throw. The pad matches the game: segment keys for cricket-family games, a number pad for x01.
Add players
On the game screen, the Players card sits at the top. You can mix and match all three kinds in one game:
- Search — find a friend by name and add their account. Their stats accrue to them, on their own trial or subscription.
- Guest — type a name for someone without the app. Guests play pass-the-phone: the host enters their scores. After the game, a guest can claim their stats with a QR code — see Guests and claiming.
- Yourself — you're already in.
Fair games with auto-handicap
For x01 games, switch on Auto-handicap when you create the game. The app looks at each player's last 30 days of countdown play (at least 60 recorded darts) and scales starting scores so the night is competitive:
- The strongest player keeps the full start — 501 stays 501.
- Everyone else starts lower, proportional to their average, rounded to the nearest 10, and never below half the full start.
- Players without enough history play from the full start.
The handicap is shown on the scoreboard, so nobody wonders why the numbers differ.
Where things live
Your numbers have their own home: the Stats tab on mobile carries the full performance dashboard — every game type, every lens. Settings sits behind the gear on your Profile, same as always, just not spending a tab slot on it.
